The Baroness had this bird cage in her back yard. No birds in it anymore, but it is beautiful and will be the focal point of the garden. We will be growing beans in that back row and my hope is that they trellis up the cage. It will look very nice.

What are we doing with this?
You know, every garden needs to have a bit of whimsy. I never have taken myself too seriously, and I think this is a good way to live. I hope I am the first to laugh at myself; then others can join in and everyone is at ease. Don't get me wrong, I don't think I am 'less than'. I've been there, done that, got the Tee-shirt. No, no.... But life is too short to be serious all the time or to think that there is only 'one way' to do something. So I try to have fun.
