...........the Lovey and I were at Cannery Row... at a book-signing for my mom's book, A Time in Between. It's a fictionalized summer (with GREAT photos) in my mom's life - a romance between two people in pivotal points in their lives. One, a military soldier preparing to be shipped off to Viet Nam, and the other, my mom making that transition from teenager to adult. Here she is, the published author with her books. It's a horrible photo of her, but I like the books lined up. On the back cover is a photo of the coolest kid on the planet in 1967 - me!
