I do not think I have ever tasted a persimmons.

If you peel those beautiful persimmons, slice them about 1/3" thick and put them on a food dehydrator until slightly crispy, they are heaven.

Do it while they are still firm. If you are freezing or dehydrating Hachiya persimmons they won't have that unripe taste. You don't need them to be soft.
